worship services & Bible Study

St Mark offers a number of different Sunday morning worship formats and times in order to best serve our congregation.

Our Lord's Day begins with an 8:00am Traditional service, followed by our 10:30am Contemporary Service and we close the day with our 4:00pm traditional service.  Additionally, we invite all members to attend our 9:15am Bible Study in between the 8am and 10:30am services.  We hope we can see you at one or more of these services this Sunday!

A Cry Room and Child Care are available for all services.  Please call the church and let us know you would like to sign up!

  • 8:00am traditional

Proud of our Lutheran heritage, our 8:00am service celebrates our beautiful Lutheran liturgy as found in our Service Book.  Few things stir the spirit more in worship than the resounding call of the bells and power of our full pipe organ.  Faithful hymns and all of the liturgical symbolism that keeps us focused on Christ are present and celebrated.  Even if you are more of a contemporary worshiper, we know you will find our traditional service beautiful and restorative.

  • 10:30am contemporary

No doubt we have every reason to stand up, raise our hands and shout to the Lord a new song for the wonderful things He has done for us. Featuring the contemporary worship band "Crossmarked", if you are looking for a contemplative and serious contemporary worship that is all about Jesus, then you have come to the right spot. We love to see the whole family in worship so don't hesitate to bring the kids (though cry room and child care is available)!

  • 4:00pm traditional

Identical to our 8:00am service, our 4:00pm service aims to offer an alternative time for members who find the later afternoon an easier time to bring the family together for worship. Faithful worship followed by family dinner...what better way is there to bring an end to the weekend and recharge for the week ahead!?

  • 9:15am Bible Study

Jesus said in the Gospel of John, "If you are truly my disciple, you will abide in my Word." St Paul said that the Word of God is the power through which He saves us. Here at St Mark, the Word is King! Our Bible Study is well attended by people of all different faith experiences and knowledge levels. Pastor Lentz and Pastor Jay are great at bringing the Bible alive and showing how God's Word is most relevant even for today. Come connect with Jesus at our up coming Bible Study!
