Join us on God’s Word Tour 2012: OT Edition
The Old Testament invites you to ride in the ark with Noah, face Goliath & the Philistines with David, and live by faith with Abraham, Moses & the prophets. Join the great heroes and heroines of the faith as they serve God.
You’ll meet our great God and Savior who fills the clouds with chariots of fire to protect his people. A compassionate God who clothes Adam and Eve while promising them a Savior. The God who turns evil intentions into good for Joseph and his family. He is, as Isaiah writes, “the Lord, the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth” (Isaiah 40:28) who has engraved us on the palms of His hands so that we are never forgotten.
Along with the daily Old Testament readings, we will read Psalms on Sundays. On Saturdays from Sept – Dec we will read the chief parts of the Small Catechism.
Check back at this page each day for the daily readings, along with a link to read them online. Or, download the God’s Word Tour 2012: OT Edition – Reading Plan and read along offline. Either way, we’re excited to have you join us on God’s Word Tour 2012: OT Edition!
